Queenstown – Wanderlust Holiday Home

Ahh, Queenstown. Kiwis’ favourite holiday destination all year round. Those of you dog owners who love a good southern getaway can celebrate – we’ve found the perfect accommodation for you and your pooch.

Wanderlust is a modern 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home, located in the new Lower Shotover development. Perfectly positioned only a 13 minute drive from the centre of Queenstown and a 10 minute walk from the local shops and restaurants, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to planning your days. All the luxuries are accounted for here, with high speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV and Netflix included in your stay.

The 5 bedrooms make Wanderlust perfect for groups or larger families, with the master bedroom also including a contemporary ensuite. The modern kitchen has all the essentials you need for a meal at home as well as a convenient breakfast bar. There is a seamless indoor/outdoor flow onto a sundeck, with ample space for your group and pooch to relax. Simply kick back and fire up the BBQ for an evening meal in the warmer months or relax in the open plan living with plenty of room to spread out.

Sit back and take in the spectacular 360 degree mountain views or head for a hike with your dog along the Queenstown Trail, just a short walk away – just be sure to keep your pooch under control and respect the cyclists who also use this trail. The trail is a great choice for all levels of fitness and you can choose how long you walk for and how lazily you do it – great for those of us who would be making frequent stop offs at cafes along the way. Alternatively you can head along the Lake Hayes walkway (leashed dogs only), which is a stunning 8km (2-3 hour) easy walking track, designed for a leisurely day out.
